Haitian singer Emeline Michel tops the GlobalFEST: Creole Carnival program Saturday at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center in Brookfield. "Michel's music is built of infectious rhythms and free-flowing vocals that border at times on scat singing," wrote Elaine Schmidt in reviewing a previous Michel concert here.
The concert also will feature Jamaican performer Brushy One Stringand Brazilian samba band Casuarina.
